Redemptive Life Urban Initiatives Corporation

Redemptive Life Urban Initiative Corporation is a 501 (c) (3) Community Development Corporation, founded in 1993 with an articulated purpose of “educating and empowering individuals to improve their quality of life. Through synergistic partnerships with private, corporate, governmental and community-based entities, the corporation focuses its effort upon the revitalization and transformation of inner-city environments into economically self-sufficient, culturally enriched, and socially-balanced communities, with particular emphasis upon the economic, familial and socially-beneficial ecosystems within high risk, crime infested and economically distressed areas of Palm Beach County, Florida. Primary emphasis is placed upon comprehensive interventional youth activities, building strong families, incubation of entrepreneurial enterprises, personal and business financial management, health and day care needs, and core citizenship values. Through partnership with its parent corporation, Redemptive Life Fellowship Church, the corporation operates its innovative programs in a state-of –the-art five million dollar facility including classroom and seminar rooms, a computer technology center, and a 16,000 square foot gymnasium, designed to enhance social interaction within our greater community.

The corporation has recently been honored and designated as the regional “Global Network Affiliate” of the world’s leading charity in product philanthropy, Gifts In-Kind International. In that capacity the corporation oversees the receiving, warehousing, and ultimate distribution of more than five million dollars of goods and products to more than forty (40) (501) (c) (3) social service agencies in Palm Beach County.

The organization remains under the direction of its Founder and CEO, Bishop Harold Calvin Ray, a nationally recognized leader in community revitalization through faith based initiatives. A brief summary of the core programs offered by the corporation are linked hereto.
